TimFoolery! also known as Tim Pendergast, is a Fort Collins Magician, and has been performing magic for over 16 years. He is very active in the magic community, holding several different positions in the local chapter, Ring 250, of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM.) He is the current president, a position he has held multiple times.
Tim also is one of the principal organizers of a magic convention, Magic in the Rockies, which is headed into it's eighteenth year. Sponsored by Ring 250-The Presto-Digitators, the convention attracts over 200 magicians from all over the United States, as well as touring pros from outside of the country. Some of the most sought-after magicians in the world have appeared at the convention, and many return year after year just to hang out. The convention is for magicians and their assistants only, but there are two public events available. If you are interested in learning more about MITR, please check the "Links" page.
Tim is originally from Columbus, Ohio, and has lived in the St. Louis area, New Hampshire and Florida. Tim has travelled the United States and Canada extensively, and is making plans to extend his travel to locations abroad in the near future. Tim has worked at a real job for over 27 years as a technician at Anheuser-Busch, Inc., and previously worked as a Field Service engineer for Barry-Wehmiller Electronics.
Tim is an accomplished photographer, although he is concentrating more on magic these days. He has won numerous awards for his scenic photography, but these days spends most of his time just making visual records of the places he visits and the people he meets.
And if that isn't enough, he also played drums professionally with a touring show band, the Kress Brothers Show, back in the late 70's, as well as playing semi-professionally for over 11 years. After a 30 year hiatus, he broke down and bought a set of drums in July, 2010, and uses them for recreation when he finds the time.
